Women’s Basketball Defeats Navy, 59-49
The Army West Point Women’s Basketball team (14-4, 6-2 PL) extended their dominance over rival Navy (14-4, 6-2 PL) with a 59-49 victory on January 26 at Christl Arena. Expanding Horizons: West Point’s Enhanced Military Training
In the summer of 2024, West Point’s Department of Military Instruction (DMI) launched a series of training programs to enhance cadet education. DMI introduced six new Military Individual Advanced Development (MIAD) opportunities and two Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) experiences, broadening the scope of cadet training beyond traditional air assault and airborne courses.

The Simon Center for the Professional Military Ethic (SCPME) implemented two new Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) opportunities this past summer: one domestic, one international. West Point Cadets to March in the Inaugural Parade
Cadets from the U.S. Military Academy will march in the 60th Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C., in honor of President Donald J. Trump beginning at 12:00 PM. Approximately 100 cadets will represent the academy in the Inaugural Parade led by First Captain Anna “Caroline” Robinson ’25 from Birmingham, Alabama.
