This Day in History
The “150th Timeline” portion of the 150th celebration is made possible by Jennifer Voigtschild Minus ’93. Over the past year, Minus has combed through West Point and WPAOG history to collect 365 facts, one for each day of the year.
About Jenn Voigtschild ’93
Jenn graduated from USMA as an American History major. She was commissioned into the Adjutant General’s Corps and was stationed in Germany, Fort Jackson, Fort Meade, West Point, Fort Hood and the Pentagon throughout her twenty-year Army career. She also earned a Master’s Degree in American History from Rutgers University prior to teaching in the USMA History Department. Voigtschild deployed to Bosnia twice in the 1990s and Iraq in 2010 before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2013. She currently serves as the Editorial Manager at the West Point Association of Graduates and she serves as her West Point classes Secretary and Reunion Chairman.
