The History Department was honored to welcome members of the West Point Class of 1980, the first class to graduate with female cadets to share their wisdom. Sue Fulton, Pat Locke, Janis Meyer, Marene Allison and Donna White all took time out of their busy schedules to speak to cadets from MAJ Jess Rudo’s HI101: Army of the Republic class. These awesome members of the Long Gray Line shared personal accounts about the integration of women into the Corps of Cadets, and demonstrated firsthand how the history we teach is often made by those we taught.
