West Point’s CDT Pasiuk ’24 Earns All-American Accolades at NCAA Championships

Army West Point Wrestling’s CDT Ben Pasiuk ’24 secured All-American status at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Kansas City March 22.

The firstie from Carrollton, Ohio clinched a top eight finish in the 174lb weight class at the championships, with a win by 9-8 decision in the blood round over Northern Iowa’s Jared Simma.

Pasiuk is the first All-American from Army since 2008, when Matt Kyler ’10 finished sixth in the 141lb bracket.

The No. 18 seed in the championships, Pasiuk secured an opening round win March 21, and followed a second round loss March 21 night with three consolation bracket wins March 22.

The EIWA 174lb runner-up finished in eighth place in Kansas City after dropping a pair of bouts in the consolation bracket.
