The Student Workshop on Civil-Military Operations, an annual event sponsored by the USMA Class of 1978 and organized by the Center for the Study of Civil Military Operations (CSCMO), recently provided a focused venue for student development and learning within the realm of civil-military operations. 

This year’s workshop brought together leading scholars and practitioners on topics of civil-military operations to debate and discuss recent developments in Iran.  The workshop supports Cadet learning and professional development across West Point. Students from United States Naval Academy, Tufts University, Princeton University and several other local colleges were invited, as well as members of various Combatant Commands, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the U.S. Agency for International Development.
