Track and Field Completes Patriot League Championships

The Army West Point Track and Field teams wrapped up the Patriot League Championships, February 23-24, with two individual titles on either side. The men finished in second place with 152.5 points. The women came in third with 135 points.

CDT Luke Griner ’24 set the meet record in the 800m to bring home the crown. CDT Emma Taylor ’24 set a meet record in the 60m to win that. CDT Joshua Gilliard ’24 won the high jump and CDT Kayley Ragazzini ’24 won the shot put.

The women’s shot put was one of the highlights of the day for the Black Knights. After Ragazzini came CDT Jordan Hecht ’27 in second, CDT Aysia Salas ’24 in third, CDT Sara Sahadi ’26 in sixth, and CDT Barbara Antwi ’24 in eighth to give Army 28 points in a single event. 28 points are the most points in a single event that any team had in the Patriot League Championships.
