After a stunning season in the water and in the classroom for the Black Knights, Army swimming & diving firstie Molly Webber earned the 2026 Patriot League Women’s Swimming & Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year title, with six total Black Knights recognized on the Patriot League All-Academic Teams as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Angie McKane, Cora Webber, and Jenna Hart joined Webber on the women’s team while Alex Zhang and Joey Kling represented the Black Knights on the men’s team.
To be eligible for the Patriot League All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
Molly Webber, one of this season’s team captains, is a Computer Science major who earned First Team All-Patriot League honors for the fourth consecutive season after helping Army’s women finish second overall with 1,293.5 total points. One of the 2026 Co-Women’s Highest Point scorers at the meet, Webber earned seven first place finishes at the 2026 Patriot League Championships and helped Army’s women sweep the relay events at the Championship for the first time in program history. The senior from Morris Plains, N.J. became Army’s first women’s individual NCAA qualifier since it joined the Patriot League in 1994, the first woman in league history to earn four consecutive wins in the women’s 500 free, and the first woman in Army’s program history to earn three consecutive wins in the women’s 200 free.
