Army West Point Track and Field’s CDT Nathan Davis ’26 finished his season on a strong note, finishing with a personal best and in the Top 14 in the 3000m Steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The East Greenbush, New York, native finished with a final time of 8:37.62 in the event. The mark not only set a new personal best for Davis but also set a new Army Men’s Track and Field program record in the event.

Davis went on to finish sixth in his heat and 14th overall with his time in the 3000m steeplechase, falling just short in qualifying for the finals in the event, with the meet taking the top five marks in the heat, followed by the top two marks overall to the finals.

With his finish in the semifinal round, Nathan was given Second Team All-American honors, the first time in his career Davis has been named to the second team in his track and field career. Nathan Davis also finishes his junior season as the program record holder in the 3000m steeplechase, the Patriot League Champion in the 3000m steeplechase, and on the Patriot League All-Academic Team.

Davis adds these honors to his cross-country accomplishments from the 2024 season, where he qualified for the NCAA National Meet and earned the Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year.
