The West Point Parent Club of North Carolina held a Hail and Farewell picnic in June to honor the graduating Class of 2023 and the Cadet Candidates before they headed to R-Day. Guest speakers were Lester Jung ’73, representing their 50-Year Affiliate class and Tom Bolen ’92, representing the West Point Society of the Carolinas. In all 91 guests attended, including seven members of the Class of 2023, 15 cadet candidates, and 11 members of the Long Gray Line ranging from the Class of 1970 to the Class of 2019.
