Army West Point Men’s Tennis (9-4, 3-1 Patriot League) improved its winning streak to six matches with three conference wins March 22-23. The Black Knights won all three matches by a commanding score of 4-0, taking down Loyola Maryland, Lafayette, and Holy Cross from Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

Beginning on March 22 against Loyola, Army got out to a quick start, securing the doubles point. CDTs Jack Hanna ’26 and Matías Feoli ’28 made quick work on court one, posting a 6-1 victory before CDTs Marcus Sebastian ’26 and Daniel Choi ’26 logged a 6-2 win at flight two. CDT Jackson Armistead ’28 began his weekend with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at flight one singles, as Jack Hanna replicated his scoreline on court five. The match was then quickly clinched from Michael Zhang ’25 on court six, who registered a 6-1, 6-2 victory.

Returning on March 23 for the matchup with Lafayette, it was Choi and CDT Alan Ton ’27 to get the first doubles win on court two (6-1) before Zhang and CDT Preston Achter ’27 clinched the point at flight three with a 6-2 showing. Jack Hanna got the singles wins started with a (6-2, 6-0) win on court three to put Army ahead 2-0 in the contest. Achter took care of business on court six as well, winning both sets by a 6-2 score to set up Zhang to once again have the match-clinching win on court five (6-2, 6-1).

Army continued its strong play against Holy Cross, as Feoli/Hanna and Sebastian/Ton each battled to 6-4 doubles wins to put the Black Knights ahead 1-0. Achter was the first to clinch his singles match at flight six, dropping three games en route to a (6-2, 6-1) win. Armistead stood strong on court one once again, winning the first set 6-4 before a 6-1 win in set two, which put Army ahead 3-0. Feoli capped off the weekend for the Black Knights on court four, winning (6-1, 6-2) to secure Army’s perfect score on the weekend.

The Black Knights will return on March 26 with a road matchup at Monmouth slated for 1:00pm.
