Class Years:

Mike Ross, a 1990 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, has been promoted to president of HD Construction Equipment Hyundai North America.

Ross will oversee the company’s business strategy and continued growth across the United States and Canada. He succeeds Stan Park, who retired after serving as president since 2021.

After earning a degree in economics, Ross served six years as an Army officer before beginning a career in the construction equipment industry. Over the past three decades he has held leadership roles across sales, operations, and product management at major equipment manufacturers.

Ross joined Hyundai in 2020 as vice president of sales and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he helped guide the company’s North American operations through the COVID-19 pandemic while expanding its dealer network, strengthening parts and product support, and improving collaboration across the organization. He also played a key role in aligning sales, marketing, product support, and operations to support the launch of Hyundai’s next generation of equipment and services.

In announcing the promotion, Hyundai cited Ross’s leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to customers, dealers, and employees as key factors in the company’s continued growth strategy across North America.

Congratulations to Mike Ross on this outstanding professional achievement.
