Army West Point Wrestling’s CDTs Wolfgang Frable ’26 and Andrew Christie ’27 have been named NWCA NCAA Division I Men’s Individual Scholar All-Americans.
The 390 student-athletes representing 73 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season were recognized for both their outstanding academic achievement and competitiveness on the mat.
Frable completed his career with a fifth-place finish at the EIWA Championships at 197 lbs. In the star dual at Navy on February 20, Frable’s bout win in the second to last match of the evening was instrumental in the Black Knights’ 19-18, come from behind dual win against the Mids.
Frable is a Computer Science major at West Point, set to branch Cyber at Fort Gordon, Georgia, after graduation. He finished his career as an NCAA Qualifier in 2024-25.
Christie—a cow—finished fourth at the EIWA Championships this season, coming one match shy of an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships while going 3-2 at the event. Christie majors in Biology.
First year Class of 1972 Head Men’s Wrestling Coach Troy Nickerson led Army to a 5-5 dual record during the 2025-26 regular season, going 4-1 in EIWA duals, including a 19-18 win at Navy. Army’s win in Annapolis was its third in a row in the Star Dual, the second straight road win at Navy and the program’s eighth over the past 12 years over its academy rival.
