This year’s winner of the annual WPAOG Army-Navy Button Design Contest is Tom Jensen, a 2001 West Point graduate. His button design, which features the Baltimore skyline, will be produced and handed out to all attendees during the WPAOG Go Army! Beat Navy! Tailgate on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Topgolf Baltimore.
Jensen said that he saw an advertisement for the contest on Instagram and thought he’d take a shot at it. He drew from his memories of going to the Army-Navy game as a cadet for the design.

“My inspiration was in Inner Harbor and the memories I made with my friends at the Army-Navy game my firstie year in Baltimore,” Jensen said. “The game didn’t turn out how we wanted, but we had a great time together and the city was so accommodating to the cadets both pre- and post-game.”
Since his time as a cadet, Jensen has been to a couple Army-Navy games, one in Philly in 2003 after returning from a deployment and one last year with his whole family, including his son Tommy, who is a West Point Class of 2027 cadet.
When asked his reaction to the fact that 1,500 members of the Long Gray Line will be wearing his button on game day, Jensen said he honestly hadn’t thought much about that, but it’s very cool. He hopes everyone likes it. His prediction for the final score of the game is Army 22, Navy 17.
As the contest winner, Jensen will receive two complimentary tickets to the WPAOG Go Army! Beat Navy! Tailgate at Topgolf Baltimore.
