West Point Mathematical Sciences and Department of History got to collaborate in the classroom when Math Instructor LTC Robert Craig ’88 visited MAJ Phil Murray’s HI302, History of the Military Art, 1900 to discuss his experiences in Gulf War I and II. Cadets benefited from the opportunity to ask LTC Craig ’88 his personal experience and how it contrasted from the textbooks’ portrayal of the wars. Both LTC Craig ’88 and MAJ Murray served as platoon mentors during the Cadet Development and Leadership Training over the summer of 2021 and continue to work as a team for Cadet development.
