The West Point Society of Greater Cincinnati held its 13th annual Leadership & Ethics Seminar for high school students on Friday, February 7, 2025.
More than 150 students accompanied by high school faculty members from nearly 50 tristate area high schools participated. This was supported by more than 30 facilitators and staff from the WPSGC, including ROTC cadets from Xavier University and Miami University of Ohio.

MG Mark C. Quander ’95, Commanding General and Division Engineer of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and former West Point Commandant of Cadets, was the keynote speaker.
The WPSGC presented three $2,000 scholarships to previous participants who completed a mentorship program at their schools over the past year.

This program continues as the society’s highest community impact effort in the Cincinnati area. A number of sponsors provided financial and in-kind support for the seminar, and Springdale Nazarene Church provides the venue for the event each year. This seminar would not be possible without the generous support of these donors. Society leadership efforts by Stephanie Markich ’99, Annah McDowell ’94, and Dan Thueneman ’11 make it happen.
