West Point Class of 1996 Gives Back

The West Point Class of 1996 presented its 30th Reunion Gift at the Army vs. Navy Lacrosse game on Saturday, April 11. Joining them on the field in appreciation of their support was Angela Oakley, Vice President of Development of the West Point Association of Graduates.

The Class of 1996, in commemoration of its 30th Reunion, generously gave a gift of $1 million to support West Point. Kevin Offel and Douglas Gafney represented the class on the field. Collectively, members of the “For Freedom We Risk!” Class of 1996 has given $5.6 million since their graduation. 

USMA graduates have a long tradition of giving back to West Point. The goal of the Class Giving program is to promote philanthropy and provide classes with an opportunity to leave their legacy at their Rockbound Highland Home.
