Laurie Rumpf joined the West Point Association of Graduates in July 2022 as Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR). Laurie views “fundraising as her calling.” She has personally raised close to $25M for a range of organizations over the course of her 15-year fundraising career including Bread for the World in Washington, DC; Maryknoll Lay Missioners in Ossining, NY; The Friends of Green Chimneys in Brewster, NY; Hudson Valley Technology Development Center in Fishkill, NY; and Putnam Associated Resource Centers (PARC) in Brewster, NY.
Laurie’s fundraising expertise goes beyond corporate and foundation grant development and management to include major gifts and special events. She is skilled at developing partnerships and establishing relationships that benefit the institutions she has served. Prior to working at West Point Association of Graduates, Laurie was familiar with West Point, having attended games and events at the Anderson Athletic Center and in Michie Stadium. She has gained an additional appreciation for service academies through her son’s experience as a cadet in the Class of 2024 at the Coast Guard Academy. Laurie holds a BA in Psychology and Studio Art from Southern Connecticut State University and certifications from Veritus Group Academy, Sandler Sales, The Foundation Center, and The Grantsmanship Center.
