Class Years:

James Ryan ’62 released “What Abides: West Point in Afterthought.” The book tells of the days and months and years at West Point and thereafter and before. Those tempestuous days of cadetship with the turmoil affixed. It tells of first gatherings and last. It is the story of a brotherhood, forged in rigorous training with a devotion to live honorable lives. GEN (R) David A. Bramlett wrote the following in his review: “What Abides’ is a superb memoir and reflection on social and political history of the time. Ryan’s allusions and word play alone will draw you in, and you will learn and ponder.” The book is available on Amazon.
