On March 19, the Class of 2028 publicly unveiled its class crest for the first time during the Plebe Parent Weekend Banquet in the Mess Hall, opening a new chapter for the Class of 2028.

Guests witnessed the curtain lift, revealing a crest commanded by a gleaming gold “28,” encircled by 28 links of The Great Chain. Hovering just above the “28,” a bald eagle, flanked by officer and cadet sabers, grasps a banner bearing the class motto: “No Calling Too Great.” Above the eagle’s head appears four golden letters: “USMA,” framed by a glimpse of the Stars and Stripes. The crest will serve as a symbol of the Class of 2028’s unity, resilience, and commitment to the Long Gray Line.

The guest speaker was LTG Gregory K. Anderson ’91, commander of the XVIII Airborne Corps. Among other distinguished guests, the Class of 2028 also hosted two members of its 50-Year Affiliate Class, the Class of 1978 “Proud and Great,” MAJ (R) Peter A. Eschbach, USAR, and Mr. Joseph W. Mislinski.
