Modernization & Innovation

West Point Ready is aligned with both USMA and the Army’s strategic plans. It is a $600.5 million comprehensive fundraising campaign aimed at advancing modernization and innovation for West Point. This campaign is about taking West Point to the next level.

Cadet Development

It will enhance programs and activities available to cadets right now, while creating new opportunities that pave the way for future generations. The needs included in this campaign were derived by the Academy to address every area of cadet development.

Competitive Edge

With your support, we can elevate the cadet experience in unprecedented ways and strengthen West Point’s competitive edge over other elite institutions so that we can continue to attract and retain the nation’s best and brightest.

West Point Ready will make sure that our cadets and graduates remain ready to serve and ready to lead in all pursuits.

Board of Directors Chairman Robert A. McDonald

“I am honored to serve as the Chair of the West Point Ready Campaign Cabinet. Serving alongside me are many distinguished graduates and friends of the Academy committed to furthering West Point’s mission: “to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.”

With your support, West Point Ready will strengthen the Margin of Excellence for our cadets—those additional developmental programs that go beyond the core elements supported by government funding. Funding priorities seek to broaden intellectual capital, enhance military agility, embrace the competitive edge, and inculcate the ethos of living and leading honorably in our Corps of Cadets. The breadth of the campaign spans the Academy to ensure that every cadet, every program, and every department will benefit from your support.”
