Long-Lost West Point Ring of BG Perry ’31 Is Found

John Wallace III “struck gold,” quite literally at his new home in Michigan. While raking in the yard, Wallace unearthed the West Point class ring of BG (R) Miller Osborne Perry ’31. Wallace contacted Perry’s daughter, Susie, who explained how her father had lost his treasured ring nearly 40 years ago, and had eventually purchased a replacement ring. After Perry’s death in 2010 at age 102, Susie had donated the replacement ring to WPAOG’s Ring Memorial Program. Now Perry’s newly-discovered original ring will also be donated to the “Ring Melt” so that “her father’s memory will live on — for the second time.” Full Story.
