West Point Crew Kicks off Spring Season!

West Point Crew Kicks off Spring Season!

The Army West Point Crew Team had a great weekend in Philadelphia at the Kerr Cup on April 14! Both Varsity Eights rowed in petites, but it was the novice women 8 who did outstandingly well, medaling Gold in the finals. Army Crew is busy preparing for the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships on April 28, NY State Championships in Saratoga, NY on May 5, and then back in Philadelphia for the Dad Vail Regatta May 11-12. Last November, WPAOG and the Army Rowing Association launched a campaign to fund an endowment to ensure support for the team in perpetuity. An anonymous donor made a 1:1 matching gift challenge of $66,000 to kick-start the campaign, and thanks to your support we are nearly halfway there! Please give today so we can take full advantage of this generous matching gift offer and support the Margin of Excellence West Point Crew Team.
