"Honoring the Past. Preparing for the Future"

Records show that the idea for an Association of Graduates was first proposed by Robert Anderson (1825). The West Point Association of Graduates was founded to reunite Academy graduates who found themselves on opposing sides during the Civil War. In May 1869, a constitution and bylaws were adopted, which focused purely upon fraternal activities and prohibited political discussions.
Today, the Association of Graduates continues to strengthen the bonds of the “Long Gray Line” through communications and services to graduates as well as building relationships with current Cadets at West Point…our future graduates.
