WPAOG Army-Navy Tailgate 2019

The 20th WPAOG Go Army! Beat Navy! Tailgate is now sold out, however, we are taking limited walk-ins at the door. Walk-ins are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Plan to arrive early and check-in with a WPAOG staff member for assistance.

Before the Tailgate:

1. Is there a fee to attend? Yes. The Adult fee is $50 per person, Teen fee (ages 13-20) is $25 per person, and Child fee (ages 5-12) is $10 per person. Children under 5 years of age are free.  All fees include food, soda, bottled, water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The Adult fee includes beer and wine. Cash Bar is available for Mixed Drinks.

2. How do I Register?
Click on “REGISTER” at the top of the tailgate website.

Attendee Tab

  • Enter your first and last name below Attendee 1
  • Click + Add Attendees if you have a guest(s) with you.  Click Continue.  

Select Events Tab

  • Click the Attend button in the Select Events tab.  A pop-up window will appear.
  • Indicate your ticket type and the quantity total under the Adult (ages 21 and older), Teen (ages 13-20), and Child (ages 5-12) category.
  • Click the Next button to assign each attendee to the ticket type.  All attendee names will appear in the drop down and you would select a name to each ticket.
  • Click the Save button.  You will be brought back to the main screen where you will see the total number of tickets purchased.  If this is not correct, click the Edit link.  If this is correct, click on the Continue button. 

Select Option Tab

  • If applicable, type in your USMA Class Year for you and your guest.  If this doesn’t apply, please leave blank.  Fill out your dietary needs and click on the Checkout button.

Checkout Tab

  • Check “Use an attendee’s contact info for billing” and select the attendee’s name from the dropdown or enter in the information below.  Once that is completed click on the Continue button.  Enter in the billing address, phone number, credit card number, expiration date and CSC code then click on Complete payment.
  • You will receive a confirmation message in the next web browser. You will also receive this same confirmation in an email to the address you used to register. Please keep this confirmation for your records; however, you will not need it to check-in for the tailgate.

The transaction for the tailgate will look like this on your credit card statement: WPAOG Events AS Events 845-446-1649

3. I just registered, but now want to add an additional event/guest?
Go back to the registration site and then follow the steps above to go through the entire process again.  You will only need to add in your guest information. When you get to the billing screen add in your information (this is how it will be linked to your record) and this new registration will be combined with your previous registration.

4. Can I pay at the door?
Yes, as long as we have space available. Please see a member from the events staff at the registration tables located through the doors to the Wells Fargo Center on the 11th Street Atrium side (Cure Club and PJ Whelihan’s Pub).

5. Where can I find the attendee list?
Available on the tailgate website, this list is updated approximately every business day morning and shows just the main registrant, not guests. To confirm your attendance for the reunion, see #2 – How do I Register?

6. What are the accommodations for this event?
Our Alumni hotel block at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriot is currently sold out of rooms as well as double rooms at the Sonesta Philadelphia.  There are limited number of single rooms available at the Sonesta Philadelphia but there are rooms still available at the SpringHill Suites in Mt. Laurel.

We ask that if you currently have a room and need to cancel for any reason, please offer your room on the WPAOG Ticket Exchange in case another alumni or parent needs a hotel room.  The WPAOG Ticket Exchange can only be accessed by logging into www.westpointaog.org.

7. What should I leave at home?
The following items are prohibited inside Lincoln Financial Field: alcoholic beverages, cans, glass bottles, umbrellas, coolers or bags larger than 12”x 6”x12”.  Click here for information on additional prohibited items.

8. Can I bring a camera?
Yes. A phone or camera can be carried into the stadium so long as it is not in its own bag.

9. What is the refund policy?
Tickets can be refunded up until 12:00pm ET on Tuesday, December 3.

1. How do I get to the Wells Fargo Center?
Wells Fargo Center is located on 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19148.

2. Where do I park?

Parking is first-come, first-serve at cost within the Sports Complex at the Wells Fargo Center and at Lincoln Financial Field.   Click here for more parking information.  For Wells Fargo, our tailgate is located on the 11st atrium side closest to Lot D and E.    

3. What's on the menu?

4. I have dietary restrictions; how can you help?
We will have a gluten free rolls available, and vegetarian/vegan friendly options, but we are not able to accommodate any other any other dietary restrictions.

During the Game: 

1. What time does Army March-On?
Army March-On begins at 12:40pm.

2. What is the stadium re-entry policy?
Stadium re-entry is not permitted.If you plan to enter the stadium to watch the March-On of the Corp of Cadets and Brigade of Midshipmen, you will not be permitted to exit the stadium following March-On and re-enter for the game. The March-on will be televised inside the Cure Club during the tailgate.

3. Is smoking permitted inside Lincoln Financial Field?
The City Ordinance of Philadelphia prohibits smoking in public places and workplaces, including sports facilities. This policy includes the preclusion of e-cigarettes and vaporizers. At Lincoln Financial Field, smoking is PROHIBITED in ALL AREAS of the stadium. Designated smoking areas are available in the following locations.

  • HeadHouse Plaza
  • Outside the Verizon Wireless Gate across from Section 101
  • Outside the south of the stadium across from Section 113
  • Outside each Club and Suite entry (Club & Suite fans only)
  • Violators of this policy may be ejected from the stadium. All Season Ticket Members are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their fans and/or persons using their tickets
